A: It is always encouraged to reserve a table for dinner to avoid disappointment; we recommend making advance bookings for Friday and Saturdays.

Q: Do I need to buy a ticket for Sunday Yum Cha?
A: You do not need to purchase a ticket to this event, however, please book online via Dimmi on our website for the 11.30am or 1.30pm session. See our delicious Yum Cha menu here:
Q: Is any of your Sunday yum Cha gluten free?
A: The Yum Cha banquet is not recommended for GF eaters, as the vast majority is house made dumplings. You may order a la carte options from the Yum Cha bar menu. Please see the menu options (including our GF dishes) here
Q: What is your dress code?
A: Our dress code is smart casual. We’d like to remind all our guests that management reserve the right to refuse entry to any person considered unsuitably dressed. The below dress is considered unacceptable: - Board shorts and swimwear - Caps - Male singlets or tank tops - Hi-vis, manual work clothing or boots - Ripped, scruffy or dirty clothing - Thongs, unclean or untidy footwear
Q: What time do you serve food until?
A: 9:30pm from Wednesday-Saturday and until 9pm on Sunday.
Q: Is your outdoor area enclosed for winter?
A: Yes, our outdoor area is enclosed and is great spot to relax during winter. All areas of the bar are very warm with heaters and fires spread throughout.
Q: Can I bring a cake to my event?
A: You may bring your own cake however cakes attract a $2.50 per person cakeage/plating charge. Self-served cupcakes attract no charge.
Q: Do you have live music or DJs?
A: We have live DJs most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Check out our What’s On section for the most up to date info.
Q: Do you do gift vouchers?
A: Yes, give something special with a gift voucher for Sweetwater or any of our sister venues. Purchase a voucher here from $25 to $500 online and it will be sent to you via email.
Q: Are you kid friendly?
A: We allow minors in the safety of the restaurant behind the brass curtain at all times as long as they are seated with a parent or legal guardian.
Babies are allowed with the parent in the bar and terrace area until 6pm in a pram or pushchair.

Q: Do you have parking?
A: There are two cark parks behind Richmond Quarter and some street parking on Silas street itself (check local signs).
Q: Do we have to do the banquet?
A: Tables of six or more all go onto our $60pp banquet menu. You still get to choose from the main menu but it’s a little more structured. For example, a table of six selects eight smalls, four larges, four sides and three desserts to share.
Q: Do you show sports?
A: Generally we don’t show sports except for major events. Please send an email to email@example.com for more information or keep an eye on our What’s On section of our website.
Q: Do you allow hens parties?
A: We do allow hens parties, as long as they don’t affect other guests experience at Sweetwater.
Q: Can I order from your seasonal menus whilst sitting in the bar area?
A: Yes, the bar menu is reflective of our current restaurant menu, which is updated seasonally.

Q; Can you smoke in the venue?
A: No, we are a completely non-smoking venue. If you wish to smoke you must make your way downstairs to the garden area outside the entrance to Seashells.
